We have just produced our first newsletter from the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve with news from the Centre and around the region. We hope this will be a quarterly publication and would welcome your feedback and suggestions for things you would like to see included. We're pleased to be part of the Bealtaine Living Earth Festival this year, Ireland’s biggest biodiversity and natural heritage festival. We'll be running events on both Sunday 19th May and Sunday 26th May. In addition to the events outlined in the programme, we also have a talk on Bumblebees on Sunday 26th May at 2pm.
We are currently in the process of redeveloping the pond and surroundings down at the Centre for improved visitor access and experience. We hope to keep you up to date on the progress of the works both here on the website and also on our facebook page so be sure to check back regularly.

Join us for a tree week event on Tuesday 2nd April at 2pm as we label the trees around the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve and talk about the different varieties that grow around the Centre.
This Sunday is World Wildlife Day with the theme of 'Life below water:for people and planet'. Head over to the website www.wildlifeday.org for more information.
Please be aware that the Raven Nature Reserve will be closed at the main entrance on Tuesday 5th March from 8.30am to 5pm due to essential works. Access will still be possible via the beach.
Saturday 2nd February is World Wetlands Day. Head over to worldwetlandsday.org to read about the importance of protecting the worlds wetlands.
