{"id":577,"date":"2020-03-18T08:48:41","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T08:48:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wexfordwildfowlreserve.ie\/?p=577"},"modified":"2020-03-18T08:49:23","modified_gmt":"2020-03-18T08:49:23","slug":"access-to-national-parks-and-nature-reserves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wexfordwildfowlreserve.ie\/ga\/access-to-national-parks-and-nature-reserves\/","title":{"rendered":"Access to National Parks and Nature Reserves"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Ireland\u2019s National Parks and Nature Reserves remain accessible to the public and have seen an upsurge in visitors in recent days.\u00a0 While the Parks and Reserves remain open, visitor centres and information points are closed on foot of Government measures to combat the spread of Covid-19.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The National Parks and Wildllife Service (NPWS) would like to encourage continued enjoyment of these wonderful outdoor resources, but would also like to remind the public of the importance of adhering to current Health Service Executive (HSE) advice, particularly in relation to social distancing.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">To this end, the NPWS is encouraging small walking groups &#8211; with a distance of approximately 2 metres between individuals \u00a0&#8211; to avail of the numerous walks within the Parks and Reserves.
