They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automated Scanning: This provides a quick (but not complete) overview of issues that persons may encounter<\/li>\n<li>Guidance: Provision of guidance to content editors such as using Alternate Text<\/li>\n<li>Manual Review: Regularly performing manual review of each site and adjusting the site to help improve<br \/>\naccessibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>This website\u2019s conformance with official accessibility guidelines<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The website currently has <strong>partial<\/strong> conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)<br \/>\n2.1 at AA Level. Our most recent web accessibility audit for this website was on 22\/09\/2025.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Areas for improvement and time-lines<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We are aware of some areas on the website where we could improve accessibility. We are currently working to achieve<br \/>\nthis.<\/p>\n<p>Areas for improvement, time-lines for improvement, and alternatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Image Based Old Event Posters: We hope to have improved the accessibility of the site by ensuring all events<br \/>\nposters are written in a textual format to enable screen readers read the content<\/li>\n<li>Sub-menus not accessible by Keyboard: This issue aims to be resolved with the new Nature Reserves template or<br \/>\nthe adjustment of menu for a more accessible solution.<\/li>\n<li>Nivo Slider Keyboard Trap\/Pause: This issue aims to be resolved with the new Nature Reserves template or the<br \/>\nremoval of Nivo Slider for a more accessible solution.<\/li>\n<li>Content: Terms like\u00a0\u201cread more\u201d do not provide any context<\/li>\n<li>Content: Centered-aligned or justified text is difficult to read<\/li>\n<li>Colour contrast: Very low contrast for normal-sized text<\/li>\n<li>Colour contrast: Very low contrast for large-sized text<\/li>\n<li>The logo in the footer is blurry and difficult to read<\/li>\n<li>Old PDF Documents may not be fully readable.
