Primary

Since September 2010 the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve has been part of the Discover Primary Science and Maths Network. If your school is part of this program, please inform us of this when making a booking.

We are now taking bookings for our Spring/Summer workshops
in the Raven Nature Reserve, County Wexford.

You can choose either a Tree workshop or Ecology workshop.
Both will involve pond dipping and bug hunting.

The Tree workshop will take a look at how trees help our environment, how to age and measure trees and why they are so important for all living creatures.

The Ecology workshop will give students a more in depth look at our environment, using equipment to closely observe the plants and animals under our feet.

Workshops last for 2 to 3 hours (depending on the age of the children), starting at 10am, although later start times can be accommodated.

All workshops are free of charge.

If you have any questions, or wish to make a booking, then please email
or call the Reserve on 01 539 3460.
